New p2p Geosocial Networking Platform, CarbonCloud CS, to Launch at GeoWeb
The Carbon Project today announced it will launch its new peer-to-peer (p2p) Geosocial Networking™ platform, CarbonCloud CS™, at GeoWeb 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 24, 2007.
CarbonCloud CS is a scalable platform that supports information sharing between peers. With CarbonCloud CS users can enhance their solutions with peer-to-peer functionality such as group chat, content sharing, content search and more. The system is designed to handle millions of users and the content handled by the system is encrypted - which makes communication safe and secure.
You can think of CarbonCloud CS as a tool to make social networking possible, allowing enterprises to add social networking capabilities such as chat or file sharing to their software solutions. Enterprises can add value to their software with CarbonCloud CS, so it’s a powerful discriminator for companies competing in a growing social networking market.
CarbonCloud CS will be debuted at The Carbon Project’s GeoWeb Workshop – “Geosocial Networking: Democratic Access to Location-based Content Made Easy”. Information about GeoWeb 2007 is available at http://www.geoweb.org/.
